Loading... Please wait...The Badger Mountain 2010 Merlot has smokey raspberries and tobacco jump out of the glass and are wrapped in red plums. At once supple and finely balanced these flavors continue on the palate and are joined by cherry blossoms, chucker cherries and dark blackberries. Finishes pure and bright with delightful layers of sweet dark fruit.
This wine should be stored with a constant cool temperature of around 55°-65° F and away from sunlight, or refrigerate as are all unsulfited wines. If refrigerated, let it warm to about 48°-55° F before serving or you will miss out on some of its flavors. No preservatives, no added sulfites, just pure and simple.
FOOD PAIRING: This Merlot is tasty with cheeses such as Feta, Cheddar, Gruyere, Fontina, Smoked Gouda and Brie. Pair Merlot with roasted, grilled, sautéed pork, veal, poultry and seafood. Soups, stews, ragouts, casseroles with salt based ingredients and acidity are delicious partners for this wine. EcoVine Wine Club recipes>
