Horse & Plow 2009 Zinfandel - Testa Vineyards

This Old Vine Zinfandel comes from Testa Vineyards, located in Calpella, Mendocino County. Testa has some of the oldest organic vines in the North Coast. The grapes were picked by hand, hand sorted, destemmed without crushing, and cold soaked for 7 days. We fermented each lot using a mixture of native and cultured yeast in small open‐top tanks, punch‐down by hand, and aged in French Oak barrels. This wine is not fined or filtered. Only 125 Cases produced.

95% Zinfandel, 5% Petite Sirah, Testa Vineyards: 40-90 year old vines, Mendocino, Certified Organic-CCOF, 100% French Oak Barrels, Alcohol 14.5%
