Blair Fox 2006 Purisma Mountain Syrah

The Syrah grapes were harvested from steep hillside blocks of the Purisima Mountain Vineyard.  The grapes were grown Biodynamically utilizing the Earth’s lunar cycles and a very organic approach.  This wine was barrel aged in French Oak for twenty months prior to being bottled in August of 2008. 

Blair Fox was awarded the Andre Tchelistcheff Winemaker of the Year Award at the San Francisco International Wine Competition in January of 2008!

Robert Parker- 90 Points   Robert Parker described this wine as possessing, “cassis, black raspberry, cherry, graphite, licorice, and black olive” while being, “delicious, sexy, and sensually textured with broad mouthfeel”.   Only 104 cases produced.
